Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use are a legal agreement between you and the developer of File Sorter: Swipe to Delete (“File Sorter”, “we”) governing your use of the app. By downloading or using File Sorter you accept these terms. Your purchase and download are also subject to Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions, and Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the extent it is not inconsistent with these terms.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use File Sorter on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store rules. The app, its design, its icon, and its content are our property and are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. This license is for your personal use; it does not allow you to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer the app except where the law expressly permits it.

3. What the app does — and your responsibility

File Sorter is a tool for reviewing and deleting files, photos, and songs. Deletions are initiated by you, one swipe at a time. As a safety net, files you delete are held in the app’s Recently Deleted area for 30 days (photos are held in the iOS system Recently Deleted album), after which they are permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

You are responsible for what you delete. Please review the Recently Deleted area before purging it, and maintain your own backups of anything important. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of data resulting from deletions you perform with the app.

4. File Sorter Plus

File Sorter Plus unlocks Photo mode, Music mode, and removes advertising. It is available two ways:

4.1 Weekly subscription — $0.99 per week, with a 3-day free trial

• New subscribers receive a 3-day free trial. When the trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription at $0.99 per week unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of the free trial, for trial subscriptions).
• The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the then-current weekly price.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device Settings: Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Plus access until then. No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a period, except where required by law.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase the lifetime unlock or otherwise begin a paid subscription.
• Prices are shown in your local currency in the App Store and may vary by region. If the price changes, you will be notified in accordance with App Store rules and can cancel before the change takes effect.

4.2 Lifetime unlock — $19.99, one time

• The lifetime unlock is a one-time, non-consumable purchase. It is not a subscription: there is no recurring charge, no renewal, and nothing to cancel.
• It grants a license to all current Plus features, for as long as the app is available, on devices signed in with the Apple ID that made the purchase.
• If you reinstall the app or move to a new iPhone, use Restore Purchases in the app to regain access at no charge.

4.3 Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple, and refund requests are handled by Apple under their policies. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Free tier and advertising

The free tier of File Sorter is supported by interstitial advertising served by Google AdMob. Ads are clearly presented between swipe sessions and never disguised as app content. How ad data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use File Sorter only for its intended purpose — managing content on your own device — and in compliance with applicable law. You must not:

• use the app to access, modify, or delete data you do not have the right to manage;
• attempt to circumvent the app’s purchase verification, advertising, or any technical limitation;
• copy, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app or any part of it;
• use the app in any way that violates Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

File Sorter is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the app will meet your requirements. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you fail to comply with these terms. You may terminate it at any time by deleting the app (remember to cancel any active subscription first — deleting the app does not cancel it). Sections 3, 7, 8, and 10 survive termination.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time — for example, when features or pricing change. The current version will always be posted at this page with its effective date. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
